Adventure Learning Experience Beyond Training The development organization charged with training people in the skills of building a Truthful Organization is the Venture Centre. Venture Centre adventure programs are hands-on, roll up your sleeve experiences that provide participants with opportunities to learn new skills and more importantly, situations which require participants to use these skills in real-life situations. This is NOT training in a traditional sense. A collection of tools designed to assist participants live out and make the most of the Seven Steps to Champion Truth is part of a comprehensive curriculum. The Venture Centre offers a variety of programs including, but not limited to the following: Executive Challenge (Ropes) Course The Venture Centre operates an executive challenge course in the pristine forests at the base of Longs Peak (14,256 ft.). The challenge course or ropes course can accommodate groups as small as eight or as large as eighty. Challenge stations at separate locations throughout the un-touched sylvan setting are the venue for small groups to explore personal, group and team challenges, including: decision making, problem solving, allocation of resources, situational leadership and others. Situated above the exquisite Aspen Lodge, the combined facility offers modern conference facilities, cozy accommodations, gourmet food, athletic facilities and horseback riding - all, in a rustic Western ambience. The complex is situated one hour and twenty minutes Northwest of Denver outside Estes Park, Colorado - gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Small and large organizations have determined through personal experience that this is the premier Rocky Mountain facility. Truthful Structure - (Hands-on learning) One elegant business simulation incorporates all of the personal, interpersonal, team and organizational tools required to build a Truthful Organization. The simulation can involve as few as ten or as many as fifty participants. The model is highly flexible in its deployment. The centerpiece is a coordinated construction project where the participants build a complex geometric structure eight feet high. Actual engineering blueprints are interpreted by one or more executive engineers which must convey their interpretation orally to a construction foreman. The foreman along with someone serving in a quality assurance position must deliver detailed instructions to the construction crew. Parts must be acquired, catalogued and assembled into the final Truth Structure. In more elaborate deployments, the flow of work is interrupted by the need to raise capital from investors, security infractions, the purchase of component parts, close scrutiny of regulatory agencies and even a sensationalist television media. The outcome is a team with the tools necessary to face challenging situations with a sense of purpose and shared vision driven by personal initiative and integrity. On-site adVENTURE day The Venture Centre offers half-day, full-day and multi-day on-site adventures for organizations with limited time or fixed budgets. These powerful programs bring the tools for building a Truthful Organization to your team, at your location with the same hands-on, high involvement adventure learning initiatives offered at the Executive Challenge Course. But these programs do not require the same time commitment and deliver powerful results for less money. And, adVENTURE day programs can be integrated into existing training programs to augment and enhance outcomes. adVENTURE days accommodate groups as small as eight or as many as several hundred. The curriculum can be focused directly on building a Truthful Organization or co-created with the client to create a hybrid curriculum that more precisely meets the needs of the client while not compromising the spirit of the Truthful Organization. Ultimate Truth: Colorado White Water Wilderness Adventures No metaphor more perfectly matches the turbulence of the business environment than a white water river. Navigating a wild river in an open canoe forces individuals to hone the skills required to participate in a high performance team. For most people who have never been on a wild river, the ultimate adventure may seem beyond their reach. But river trips are designed to accommodate even inexperienced canoeists. Some people choose not to navigate the white water and choose instead to paddle the flat water and enjoy the extraordinary views untamed rivers meandering through deserts, canyons and forests. As it turns out, the ultimate adventure is not paddling a canoe. The ultimate adventure is the search for deeper levels of truth, and no venue guides a participant to that goal more effectively than these White water adventures.
